Bridging Culture, Trauma, and Mental Health — One Conversation at a Time
Life can feel heavy at times — whether you’re struggling with anxiety, feeling disconnected in your relationships, or carrying unhealed pain from the past. You don’t have to face those challenges alone. I’m here to help you find your way back to clarity, connection, and calm.
I’m a therapist who works with individuals and couples ready to do the deep, meaningful work of growth and healing. My approach blends compassion with evidence-based methods to help you move forward — not just to feel better, but to truly live better.
For Individuals
You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in patterns of self-doubt, or unsure how to heal from trauma. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can process emotions, understand your triggers, and develop tools that empower you to thrive.
My therapeutic style integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help you reconnect with your most authentic self.
For Couples
Even the strongest relationships face challenges. Whether you’re newly together, navigating major transitions, or healing from betrayal, I’ll guide you through open, honest conversations that rebuild trust and emotional intimacy. Using the Gottman Method and EFT for Couples, we’ll work collaboratively to help you both feel heard, respected, and connected again.
My Approach
At Tesfa-House, “Tesfa” means hope — and that’s at the heart of everything I do. I believe therapy should be relational, culturally responsive, and deeply human. You’ll find a space that honors your story, your background, and your journey toward healing.
With a background that includes work at the University of Pennsylvania, Lions Story Village, and Bridges Refugee Services, I bring experience supporting individuals and couples from diverse walks of life through trauma recovery, identity development, and relationship repair.
